Who We Are:

With a particular focus on diversity and family systems, we embrace the unique ways that others understand and navigate the world around them. An essential part of our work at CWCF is understanding that individuals are shaped and impacted by their social context such as family, friends, neighborhood, school, workplace, and communities. The feeling of belonging and social connection is the driving force of wellness in our lives.

This is why we are who we are. We are a community-based practice created from friendship, love of community, and celebration of individual differences. As a practice we are beyond commitment, but value and champion human rights globally and within our neighboring communities. We recognize, respect, and celebrate individual differences that children and their families hold across race, ethnicity, language, sexual orientation, ability, economic status, acculturation status, and family constellations. To sustain these values, we are a practice that operates from the position of relational humility. We honor one’s position in the world, and we are also eager to collaborate to make the best decisions for their wellbeing. We want CWCF to be a place where individuals of all ages and from all backgrounds can feel safe, connected, and empowered in their lives.

Who We Want:

To help uphold our mission, we are seeking both therapists and psychologists (Psy.D/Ph.D., LCPC, LPC, LCSW, LSW) who enjoy working with children, adolescents, emerging adults, families, and caregivers. We are primarily a telehealth clinic and seeking individuals open to telehealth work. We are also seeking therapists who integrate cultural diversity into their conceptualization and interventions and are open to community outreach and advocacy. Lastly, we are seeking clinicians who are creative, open to working with diverse populations, inclusive, can work independently, and who have an identified theoretical orientation. This is a part-time W-2 position with the opportunity to turn into full-time with benefits.

What We Offer:

  • Flexibility: You determine the desired number of clients you want to see and when you want to see them.

  • Competitive Pay: We believe in paying therapists fairly. Therefore, pay is a fee for service and there is a flat rate pay for administration. We also have a clause in our contract that once a clinician becomes independently licensed, we will renegotiate a pay increase. We also provide malpractice insurance too!

  • CEU Stipend for DEI+B work: On-going training in diversity and inclusion is what makes us who we are as a practice. Therefore, after six months, we offer a CEU stipend of $200 to focus on increasing cultural competency and DEI+B knowledge and awareness.

  • Intake and Billing Support: We help check insurance benefits and handle all outstanding client accounts, as well as answer all provider and client billing questions.  You just submit the note and claim in our EHR system, and we do the rest! We also can assist with scheduling the intake appointment and intake paperwork (which is all electronic).

  • Marketing: We help market you on several platforms to increase your client caseload to your desired amount.

  • Supervision and Consultation Support: We offer free supervision to LPC/LSW staff and supervision support and supervisory connections for Psy.D/Ph.D’, as well as bi-weekly group consultation.

  • Connection: Doing this work is hard, yet rewarding and we know how important connection is for one another. Therefore, we offer optional quarterly self-care outings to connect and pause as a practice.

  • Community Engagement: We attempt to embed our practice throughout Chicagoland communities and partner with community organizations to provide our clients with opportunities and resources. Therefore, we also offer optional opportunities to be a part of advocacy and outreach for the populations and communities we serve.
